About Bold International Hub

Born From Struggle.
Built for Collective Triumph.

We didn’t start in a boardroom. We started with a problem every Nigerian knows intimately — the gap between ambition and access. This is the story of how we’re closing it.

Our Origin

A Vision Born From Financial Reality

In communities across Nigeria, Ajo — the centuries-old practice of cooperative rotational savings — has always been the quiet engine behind homes built, businesses started, and school fees paid. But traditional Ajo depends on personal trust, physical proximity, and manual record-keeping. When those fail, people lose money, friendships, and faith.

“We asked ourselves: what if Ajo could never default? What if the system itself guaranteed the trust, not just the people in it?”

That question became Bold International Hub — a platform that preserves everything powerful about cooperative savings while eliminating every point of failure. We built the infrastructure so that communities don’t need to carry the risk alone.

Today we serve thousands of members across Nigeria and the diaspora, managing hundreds of active pools and processing billions in naira annually — all while staying true to the communal spirit that made Ajo endure for generations.

What Drives Us

Our Mission, Vision & Core Purpose

Three pillars that shape every product decision, every partnership, and every payout we make.

🎯

Our Mission

To deliver reliable, technology-powered cooperative savings opportunities that empower individuals, grow group wealth, and scale local businesses — accessibly and sustainably.

🌍

Our Vision

To become the globally recognised standard for community-based cooperative finance — a unicorn built not on exclusion but on the collective strength of ordinary people with extraordinary ambitions.

⚖️

Our Values

Transparency over convenience. Community over transaction. Long-term trust over short-term growth. Every feature we ship, every rule we enforce, traces back to these three commitments.

Our Journey

Five Years of Milestones

From a small founding team with a borrowed laptop to one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing cooperative finance platforms.

2020 — Founded

The First Pool Goes Live

Bold International Hub launches with a founding team of four and a pilot pool of 12 members contributing ₦20,000 monthly. Every payout is made on time. Trust is established from day one.

2021 — Growth

500 Members & Automated Payouts

We cross 500 active members and deploy our first automated payout engine, eliminating manual bank transfers entirely. Average payout processing time drops from 3 days to under 4 hours.

2022 — Expansion

Diaspora Programme & ₦1B Milestone

We launch the diaspora participation programme, allowing Nigerians in the UK, US, and Canada to join pools seamlessly. Total payouts processed cross the ₦1 billion mark.

2023 — Product

Mobile App & Business Pools

The Bold Hub mobile app launches on iOS and Android. We introduce Business Pools — larger, longer-cycle groups designed specifically for SME capital formation and supplier financing.

2024 — Scale

10,000 Members & Institutional Recognition

We surpass 10,000 active members, process over ₦3 billion in a single calendar year, and receive formal recognition from two state government financial inclusion initiatives.

2025 — Today

12,400 Members & Global Ambitions

With 12,400 members, ₦4.8 billion in lifetime payouts, and operations spanning Nigeria and the diaspora, we’re laying the groundwork for expansion into East Africa and Southeast Asia.

How We Operate

Six Principles We Never Compromise

These aren’t marketing copy. They’re the operating rules every team member is held to on every decision, every day.

01

Radical Transparency

Every naira is traceable. Every pool transaction is visible to all members in real time. We do not hold back information that members have a right to see.

02

Community Before Platform

We are the infrastructure, not the product. The savings groups our members build are the product. We succeed only when they do.

03

Reliability as a Promise

A payout that arrives late is a broken promise to someone who planned around it. We treat operational consistency as a non-negotiable, not a performance metric.

04

Accessible by Design

Bold Hub must work for the Lagos market trader and the London-based professional equally. We do not let sophistication become a barrier to participation.

05

Long-Term Thinking

We turn down growth that comes at the cost of member safety or trust. Every partnership, product feature, and policy decision is evaluated over a 5-year horizon, not a quarterly one.

06

Earned Trust

Trust is not given because we ask for it. It is built through consistent action over time. We track our promises publicly and report on delivery, including where we fall short.
